In efforts to strengthen public safety measures at the Urban Community Al-Fayhaa, 10 participants from the Union Fire brigade and municipalities attended a geographical information systems (GIS) training at Balamand University. The training was delivered during the past months as part of a larger project to strengthen the fire brigade at the Urban Community Al-Fayha’a and to strengthen its role in combating fires in the four member municipalities of the union.
Certificate ceremony for 37 municipal trainers who participated in a Training of Trainers (ToT) programme on proposal writing, geographic information systems (GIS), strategic planning and in training methodologies.
